Dougie was honoured to be presented with the Derek White Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2022 Radical Awards evening on 15th October 2022
Turning up at Oulton Park for his first weekend behind the wheel of a Radical SR3, Dougie’s first test session left him off the pace. By the end of the day Dougie was already four tenths up on the field. he poled it on the Saturday morning and then later that day came in third in his first race as he visibly got used to the car.
In the main endurance race Dougie started second but led the race from the midway point and established a commanding lead to win in style. We were told that the achievement award was largely in recognition of this incredible achievement.
